Hello from the Human Resources Team!

At MDS, people really are at the center of everything we do. In Human Resources, our job is to support the amazing staff who make our mission possible. From the very first step of the hiring process, to ongoing growth and development, we’re here to make sure employees feel welcomed, supported, and set up for success.

When new team members join MDS, we guide them through onboarding so they feel right at home from day one. We also help employees continue to grow through training opportunities, including skills-based learning, wellness sessions, and DEI initiatives that encourage an inclusive, supportive workplace.

Recruitment is another big part of what we do. Whether someone finds us through our website, a job board, or word of mouth, we’re always looking for people who share our passion for supporting individuals and families.

Once they join, we want them to feel like they’re part of something bigger, a community that values their contributions.

HR may work behind the scenes, but our focus is always on people. By supporting employees, we’re helping ensure the best possible care and services for those we serve. We’re proud to be a part of that mission.

Fall Break Fun!

During fall break, our program participants explored the community with

visits to local parks, the library, and more. While at the office, participants

stayed active through games, crafts, and quality time with friends!

Winter break program dates are 12/22–1/5 (closed 12/24, 12/25, and

1/1). We still have openings at our Jeffersonville center.

Our Employees Make Our Mission Possible!

Our Mission: Providing quality hands-on services that enhance and

improve the independence of each unique individual.

At MDS, we believe that the people who make our mission possible

deserve to be celebrated. Recognizing employees for their hard work and

dedication is one of the ways we show our appreciation and remind staff just

how valued they are.

From handwritten cards and department kudos to tokens of appreciation

like employee apparel and our Meaningful Perks program, our goal is to make sure team members feel seen and recognized. These efforts may seem small, but they go a long way in creating a positive workplace where employees know their contributions matter.

And we are not stopping there. HR is always exploring new ways to celebrate our staff and highlight the incredible work being done across all departments. Keep an eye out for even more recognition efforts in the future!
