Community Connections Recreational Therapy Break Program
Community Connections is a recreational therapy program designed for youth with disabilities who are looking to build friendships, strengthen social skills, and gain confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
Led by Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists (CTRSs), our small-group camps combine engaging recreational activities with evidence-based strategies that promote communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and meaningful peer connections. Through games, collaborative challenges, creative activities, and shared leisure experiences, participants have opportunities to develop social confidence while enjoying school breaks with peers.
Each camp is intentionally kept small to provide individualized support while encouraging authentic friendships and positive group interactions. Whether attending during fall, winter, spring, or summer break, participants can expect a welcoming environment where they are encouraged to connect, explore new interests, and experience the joy of recreation alongside others.
