Jheny joined MDS in 2023 and leads the Adult Day Services department. She enjoys seeing the growth that happens when clients practice new skills, visit new places, and socialize with others in a caring and supportive environment. Jheny loves empowering staff in their training and growth and is a strong advocate for treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Mission-driven and with a background in Social Work, bilingual proficiency, and creative problem-solving skills, she has been able to coordinate community partnerships and engaging activities for the department. Her life experiences as an immigrant woman continue to motivate her to advocate for respect and equal opportunities for all. In her free time, Jheny loves spending time outdoors with her son and her dog, Churro, or dabbling in various creative art forms. Jheny attended Goshen College, she is originally from Mexico, and her favorite food is Pad Thai!
