MDS provides internal training to our employees which includes:
-Basic Orientation to our new employees and ongoing training based on 460
guidelines
-Certification offered in Therapeutic Options (Alternative techniques to managing
challenging behaviors)
-Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders
-Understanding Traumatic Brain Injury
-Developmental Disabilities and Mental Illness
-Developmental Disabilities
MDS also provides contracts to outside providers on the following topic areas:
-Basic Behavior Management
-Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders
-Understanding Music Therapy and disabilities
-Understanding Traumatic Brain Injury
-Developmental Disabilities and Mental Illness
MDS is currently working with providers such as: VSArts of Indiana and the
Crisis Intervention Team with the Indianapolis Police Department.
