Meaningful Day Services, Inc. is seeking a Certified Therapeutic
Recreation Specialist to provide home and community-based services
to individuals with disabilities.
Position:
Part-time, Indianapolis area, Hendricks, and Johnson counties; Approx
10-15 hours/week to start.
There is potential for full-time employment with this position, if
desired. Therapists may be assigned supplemental work while
building their caseloads.
Eligibility:
Must be credentialed (CTRS) through NCTRC
Valid Driver's license
Preferred experience with MRDD population
Available to work some evenings
Job Description:
Our therapists conduct standardized assessments for each client,
attend interdisplinary team meetings, develop and implement
treatment plans and interventions based on assessed need, educate
families and caregivers on TR processes and techniques, and document
measurable client progress on a quarterly basis. Client's are typically
seen 1x/week for 1-2 hour sessions and services are based on state
allocation within the client's plan.
Benefits:
Clinical rate ranges from $18 - $22/hour
