Profile: My first experience working with the MRDD population
degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana Institute of
Technology in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  I completed my internship at
Indiana during the summer of 2003 and passed my certification exam
in Therapeutic Recreation in June 2004.  I was hired as a part-time
therapist for Meaningful Day Services, Inc., (MDS) in January 2005,
providing Recreational Therapy for individuals receiving funding
through the Support Services, Autism, and Developmental
Disabilities Waiver.

Personal Interests:
I am a North American Riding for the Handicapped Association  
(NARHA) certified instructor providing therapeutic horseback riding
services, and a Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) certified
riding instructor teaching English and Western horseback riding to
beginner through intermediate riders.  When I’m not working I’m
busy around Dusty Dreams, LLC, our 27 ½ acre horse facility, which
is also home.  I have four ‘kids’ ranging in ages from eighteen
through twenty-six, whom I enjoy visiting and spending time with
when I can.
